




The “Blind Man’s Bluff” Cigar Box Guitar
At Waterside guitars we’ve created an instrument with a classic look – but a modern feel and playability that can do it all!
We found a Blind Man’s Bluff box made in Honduras that has a wonderful natural-wood look and added combination of classic and modern materials. The result? This guitar can handle multiple styles (blues, finger picking, rock) with ease.
Just some of the features of this guitar:
- Solid red oak neck, heel and headstock
- Classic neck-through design
- 22 stainless steel frets including zero fret at the headstock
- 5 inch scale (nut to bridge)
- Matching black sound holes
- Black fingerboard / mother of pearl inlay fret dots
- Black Fender tone and volume control knobs
- Embedded “ghost” humbucker pickup (under the box lid)
- Mahogany “San Francisco” bridge
- Steve Arvey “Killer” strings; G-D-G tuning
- Fully adjustable matching gold bridge to raise or lower action
This instrument has been tested on a variety of amps and has a strong tonal range that can handle any kind of music. It’s got exceptional tone, playability and sustain. This guitar has been precisely set up for a clean, low action and proper intonation.
