The “Black Beauty” Cigar Box Guitar
The Waterside “Black Beauty” is based on a rare, and unique Camacho box. These are amazing pieces in themselves – black lacquer finish, double-embossed silver finish, embedded silver hinges – and, of course, the famous scorpion logo.
To make an instrument from this box, and to stay true to the silver and black look, we pulled out all the stops. Just some of the features of this killer guitar:

- 21 stainless steel frets including zero fret at the headstock
- 5 inch scale (nut to bridge)
- Matching black fingerboard / mother of pearl inlay fret dots
- Mother of pearl silver-on-black tone and volume control knobs

- Matching silver hardware and closed tuners
- Fully adjustable matching silver bridge to raise or lower action
This instrument has been tested on a variety of amps and has a strong tonal range that can handle any kind of music. It has been precisely set up for a clean, low action and proper intonation.
